I had a call a few minutes ago from someone wanting to know if I wanted to transfer a domain name that I have. She didn't make an offer but when I said "not really" she asked how about if they gave me some money.
Thing is, the last time I transferred a domain name (a few years ago) it was a hard process. And I don't want to go through it again. Plus, I get a little sentimental, even though I don't do anything with the domain, really. I'm sure I would miss making the yearly registration payment.
What are you supposed to do with websites anyway? I don't know how to do much. I need to look into it. I think I have five or six, ideas I had once upon a time, but I don't know how to do much with them.
Anyway, the answer is no...it's too hard to fool with. Keep 'em till the bitter end!

Cracker Jack - No More Toys
Hey, what happened to the free toy in Cracker Jack boxes? It seems to be missing, now replaced with a "prize inside." Then the prize inside is just a little tear-off booklet with a funny picture and riddle inside or an illusion.
What I'm wondering is what kind of discussion did they have at the Cracker Jack company, which I see is Frito-Lay. Was it just a cost issue, or maybe little kids were swallowing the toys? I like the toys! I remember they had them not too many years ago. The last one I remember was a little game with three small balls in it and you rolled them into holes. That was a lot better than these little booklets.
I must go to my room and pout and perhaps meditate.
